Essential oils have a very wide range of uses, including:       -  aromatherapy, using a diffuser or over a lighted candle - the advantage of the diffuser over heating the oil over the candle is, for example, its repeated use, or also that there is no need for an open fire in the diffuser      -   at home, essential oils seem to be great helpers      -   oils have a very positive effect on our health - both physical and mental and lots of other benefits that we will now imagine.

However, I would like to point out that these essential oils are NOT FOR INTERNAL USE! Lavender - a small purple flower with a very distinctive scent. Nowadays, we certainly won't find a person who doesn't know lavender. This plant has become a part of our gardens, it is very popular both for its beauty and for its use. Its essential oils, we call them lavender oil, are widely used in medicine, cosmetics and aromatherapy. In general, lavender can also be said to be one of the most universal and useful essences. But beware, thanks to its intense scent, you will either love it or hate it. Not everyone can sit up to this distinctive scent.

One of the above-mentioned areas of use is cosmetics. What benefits does lavender essential oil bring us in cosmetics? Lavender essential oil has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and soothing effects. Among other things, it also heals scars. Its effects are used, for example, by young people who already have acne problems. Lavender oil loosens pores and reduces inflammation, so it is advisable to mix it into a carrier oil - such as coconut, and apply it to the face after washing and cleaning. Soothes and disinfects the skin. In an acute case, it is possible to apply a drop of oil directly to the affected area. If we stay with our face for a while, we will definitely appreciate this oil not only during puberty, but also later, when wrinkles begin to form on our face. Thanks to its antioxidant effects, it helps protect against free radicals, which cause us fine lines and wrinkles. It is definitely worth trying to use oil to support hair growth - 3 times a week we massage a few drops into the hair and scalp. We also use the soothing effects of lavender oil if our skin is dry, scaly or even itchy - even in the case of eczema. You can find a recipe for how to mature above the extreme at the end of our article. The soothing effects of lavender essential oil will certainly be appreciated even in summer - it is suitable for sunburn, but also for bites from insects - mosquitoes, wasps and bees. Caution - however, the oil can also be used as a prevention against bites - it can also act as a repellent. Last but not least, I would like to mention the use of this oil in the fight against cellulite. Lavender oil supports lymph flow, has a cleansing effect and strengthens venous walls. Use to massage the affected areas or to relax after lymphatic drainage. We have already mentioned the strong aroma of lavender oil several times, so we would like to mention the significant effect on our psyche. If we start with the little ones - children - we will certainly appreciate this oil for problems with falling asleep. A few droplets into the diffuser before bed and children will sleep like babies. Mothers will also appreciate these calming effects during childbirth. A few drops of oil in combination with a massage of the lower abdomen and lower back helps to give birth to a more pleasant baby. Lavender is generally known to calm the nervous system. Thanks to this, lavender essential oil can be used as a mild sedative without any side effects, in other words, we use it as a natural antidepressant. Lavender oil is a great helper for depression, hysteria and nervous tension. We apply either aromatherapy or two drops directly on the temples and nape. Lavender essential oil should not be missing in any household. We mentioned its use in eczema above, other "medical" uses certainly include the treatment of cold sores, where we apply the droplets directly to the cold sores. And what about using it for nausea, both travel and pregnancy, or for example for nausea from a stressful situation - we apply it by a drop behind the ear.

Lavender essential oil can also be used at home as a remedy. He proved himself in the fight against moths. Mole lavender just hates it, so the oil should not be missing in your wardrobe, in places where we store flour and other foods that moths like to attack. If you want to increase the effect on clothes, do not be afraid to add a few drops to the washing gel - the laundry will be beautifully scented and protected at the same time. Due to its disinfecting properties, the lavender oil is also worth spraying on curtains, draperies, carpets or a textile sofa - the beautiful scent is a bonus here. Since lavender can absorb odors, it is possible to drip a few drops on balls and vacuum. As long as the balls are in your vacuum cleaner, you will smell a delicate and beautiful scent every time you turn on the vacuum cleaner.

At the beginning, we talked about the fact that lavender can smooth out wrinkles, and this also applies to wrinkles on clothes - so every time you iron, add two drops to your iron (water tank) and you will make a lot of work easier, and you will relax your mind beautifully when ironing.
